Accessibility services
Making transit available to everyone in the community is what COTA is all about. That’s why you’ll find so many different options, services and features, all designed to make it possible for people of all ages and capabilities to travel Central Ohio.
Accessible formats
To request information or schedules on audiotape or in large print or Braille, email paratransit@cota.com or call (614) 275-5828.
TTY/TTD
If you are deaf or hard of hearing, call (614) 228-1832.
Accessible buses
Look for the International Accessibility Symbol on timetables and buses to determine if a vehicle is lift- and ramp-equipped.
Kneeling buses
All COTA buses have a kneeling function that allows the front door of the bus to be lowered closer to the ground, making it easier to board.
Annunciators
COTA buses feature hardware that announces and displays next stop and destination information.
Accessible facilities
All COTA's facilities are accessible.
Accessible Transportation Advisory Committee (ATAC) ATAC made up of individuals with disabilities and/or their advocates works with COTA to develop and expand public transit services for people with disabilities. For more information, email paratransit@cota.com or call (614) 275-5828.
