OSU/COTA PAC
COTA and The Ohio State University launched their popular student pass partnership in 1997. The program allows all registered Ohio State main campus students to have unlimited access to bus service by presenting their valid red student BUCK•I•D when boarding any COTA bus.
Students pay a fee of $9 per quarter – or $13.50 per semester – and, in return, get immediate and convenient access to shopping, employment and entertainment destinations throughout the community.
The pass program contributes significantly to daily ridership, a major COTA strategic objective, while demonstrating the benefits of mass transit to a large group of potential long-term transit customers.
